How to check an international news story in five minutes

A summary helps you discover a topic, but deciding what to believe calls for checking its origin. Use these four steps before sharing a story.

1. Open the source

Select “Read article” and check that the address belongs to the named publisher or author. A short excerpt cannot show every qualification, condition or update in the full story.

2. Check the date

Compare the publication date with the date of the event. An old story can circulate as though it were new. Also look for corrections or updates made after publication.

3. Separate fact from interpretation

Find the data, document or statement supporting the central claim. Words such as “may,” “expects” and “according to” change its certainty; do not turn them into a definite conclusion.

4. Compare and share with context

For important claims, look for another identifiable, independent source. When sharing, include the original link and say what remains unconfirmed. Leave out details you cannot verify.

How to check a game offer before buying

A card helps you find a game. Make your decision on the official store, where prices and terms can change.

1

Open the link and check that it leads to the listed game or offer. Compare the name and edition: base games, complete editions and bundles can have different prices.

2

Check the final price, currency, account region and promotion end date. A game shown as free may require an account or subscription, or have a deadline for claiming it.

3

Before paying, check the platform, device requirements and refund rules at the store. Keep your receipt and enter payment details only on the official page.

How to use an AI summary without losing context

A summary is a starting point, not proof. These questions help you decide when to read further before acting or sharing.

1

What was actually read? If a note uses only a headline and excerpt, it may miss methods, qualifications or a correction found only in the full article.

2

Which claims are certain? Look for numbers, dates, named sources and words that signal uncertainty. If a detail matters, find it in the original article and any available primary document.

3

Did translation change the meaning? Names, job titles and technical terms can be ambiguous. Compare the wording with the source and avoid repeating a sentence you cannot confirm.

4

Will you make a decision? For health, money, legal matters or purchases, check current information with competent sources. Share the original link and say what you checked and what remains open.

How AdMint Daily works

AdMint Daily brings together short news updates and gaming information for readers who want to keep up without spending too much time. We present excerpts and notes with links to original sources in several languages. The project aims to make information more accessible and welcomes questions and correction requests through its contact email.

Sources and attribution

News cards show shortened excerpts from identified sources. Headlines and excerpts may be translated automatically; the full article belongs to its source and opens through the link.

Use of AI

AI selects sources, filters duplicate or insufficient items, and prepares short notes from the available headline and excerpt. It does not necessarily read the full article. Items that fail the checks stay private.

Limits

A short note does not replace the original report or verify every detail. Check dates, game prices and commercial terms at the source. Update times are planned collection windows, not a promise of new stories each time.
